I feel this is going unnaturally quick.
Already I have the walls of the cabin up and slotted properly, at least up to head height. I’ve still got the roof staging to do before I start the precarious work of getting logs four or five meters long up onto the structure by myself. A week and a bit is fast work, so fast I worry I’m doing it wrong. Wind doesn’t come through the walls and the cabin is a shade light of a barrel, so I have some comfort, though not much.
I don’t sleep, that must be it. You can only work so many twenty hour days before you start to see progress. I’m not in the least bit tired. Strange.
